Poetic Response
Outside,
the atmosphere is apocalyptic
The people have formed a moving carpet
they move
suddenly
abruptly
you feel is important, so important that life is easily replaceable
sacrificed
attacked
blamed
not all life, black people’s life, women’s life,
occasionally white
male
when confronted with their abuse of power,
by a female
a heroic consciousness
who unifies the personal with the global,
a female.
their lucid dream is real
paranoia triggers
an injection of fear and you pull the trigger
Inside
the desire of never letting go becomes a routinely dose
a wire
an electrical perception,
interrupted
fractions
of real stimulation
you buy them you have them
you can posses them
outside
inside
paranoiac conspiracies flood and flow
inside
outside
this is the time for the end
you are having a mystical revelation of universal importance
outside
inside
this is the time for the end
the end of the world
please kiss me while I hold you.
‘Watch me’ is an on-going collection of contemporary writing on selected films, placed between a factual movie review and a synopsis.
The writings focus on PHILOSOPHICAL, psychological and sociological theories with incomprehensible metaphors but fresh like lemons.
